Eurotech was born in Valtellina in 1995 as a society of pure certified JAR 145 on helicopters. In continuous expansion they decided in 1998 to move to Caiolo (SO) in a constructed hanger purposely in order to satisfy the best requirements of a modern maintenance company.

Private courses for helicopter pilots
A quality registered organisation, the enterprise intends to occupy itself as a pilot school for the attainment of the pilot licence of private helicopters [PPL (H)], by law, JAR-FCL 2 which previews a theoretical formation as well as the practical side. The Licence of Private Helicopter Pilot PPL (H) is the first European licence of civil pilot for the rotary wing. It concurs to fly on the national and foreign territory.

Flight activity
The activity is made up of theoretical parts and practical parts.
Practical course:
Training in flight: As previewed from JAR- FCL 2.125, for the attainment of licence PPL (H) at least 45 hours of flight, 29 of which as dual control and the rest alone. The hours are booked with 1 or 2 days notice, with the possibility of flight also during bank holidays.
Theory course:
Frequency and duration: To be considered according to the necessities of the student. Generally 2/3 hours one evening a week, concentrating on specific lessons at the end of the program to prepare for the quiz for the exams, these will be carried out in the base of Abbiategrasso a few km from Malpensa, Linate and Caiolo airport in Valtellina. This consists of around 100 hours of theory, distributed in the following materials: Aeronautical regulation; general notions about helicopters; Performances and planning: Human performances and its limitations; Meteorology; Navigation; Operating procedures; Principles of the flight; Communications. The organisation aims to supply every student with the necessary didactic material for the development of the course.

The duration of pilot courses vary depending on the availability of the student they have to effectuate 45 hours of flight where at the end of the training and before agreement with the ENAC (National Agency for the Civil aviation), which will be the examination session.
